Slacking a bit

Ok, last week:

Monday we did agilities and I lifted after with Kristen. I like agilities/plyos a lot.

Wednesday we had to cancel our fartlek because of rain, so we had a sprinting workshop with Mar indoors. I think my form might be a little better now, but the weight sled hurt my back so I skipped lifting with good intensions to make it up.

Friday morning was my first women's indoor track session. It went well, just barely fit into the time we had, but very useful. Leverone is hard on the lungs though! I didn't time the sprints. 800 fartlek, 2X (400, 200, 100). Lifted in the afternoon.

Saturday was the turf tournament at Williams. My playing was ok, I think my D was better than usual but my O definitely needs work. I'm still not all that used to handling since basically my only experiences with it are from practices in the fall. It got better as the day went on, but my upwind forehand stayed pretty awful.

And yesterday I made up the women's plyos on my own in my basement because I was too lazy to walk to the gym before class. Which meant I skipped lifting for the second time this term, hence the slacking. I really need to find a regular time to lift now that 10am isn't an option for me anymore.

Good news: my prof is opening the lab on Saturday mornings, so most weeks I'll be able to go and get work done then instead of Monday during conditioning, so I won't have to miss it as often. Yay!
