Matt: going strong
Hey all,
Been feeling great lately. All healed up, my foot's as good as it's been for a while (still needs to callous a bit but that'll come), lifting's been getting me feeling strong.
I just wish I could get out to practice a bit sooner. I can only re-work my schedule so much; as it is if I get out as fast as I can and bike to practice I'm getting maybe an hour of scrimmage time. Which is better than nothing, granted, but there are occasionally things that come up that trump an hour of ultimate that wouldn't trump three hours. In any case I'll be changing projects by the end of next week, so hopefully that'll permit more regular arrival to practice.
I bring my disc with me just about everywhere; I'm definitely keeping a good feel for the disc, the walk from 21 Webster to anywhere provides ample time to toss pushpasses and floaty backhands to myself, as well as work on my grip.
