Tryouts

So after a miserable day of tryouts on Monday and having to leave early to catch a Tucker meeting, I came back strong today. No turns during the scrimmage; a number of D's, and a good number of touches. No clue whether they'll let me practice with A-team this fall, since I'll be in Argentina in the spring, but I'm feeling strong, in-shape and am no longer playing music : ( I guess the upside of that is I have more time for ultimate.
Lessons learned for today:
1. Get out of my 2 quickly, so I don't have to run to practice with my bag.
2. STRETCH better - man, were my calves cramping by the end of that scrimmage.

You stopped playing music?!?!?

If you're cramping it's not necessarily a function of stretching; try making sure you drink enough water, and eat fruits (banannas for potassium; you also need sodium, but generally you get enough of this day-to-day). Could just be an electrolyte thing...

Maybe try borrowing a friend's bike/sending stuff with somebody who'll definitely be on time to get to practice?

i have a clue.

the answer is that your silly d-plan will not affect whether we choose to take you for the fall.
