Trimming the fat

2. (2/134=~1.5% my body weight)

That's how many pounds I lost over the course of break (perhaps a bit more, but I'm taking the conservative estimate). Booyah for working out and getting body fat down! Lean, mean, ultimate machine right here--this guy. And for any doubters, know that one Bruce Lee ranged between 130-135 lbs at what many consider the peak of his fitness (and I'm the same height, so booyah).

Oh wait, what, this isn't the Mideast blog? I'm sorry, let me put my ego away for a bit.

I fell off the horse a bit last week, only getting one session in with the weights (lower body, a solid workout), though I did a fair bit of weightless stuff so I think it works out all right. Coming back up to campus tomorrow, will probably hit the gym that afternoon/evening since nobody'll be back yet.

In other pantsless news...

The Coach, 12/31
"got a run in today. doing other various weights-less exercises."

Sunshine, 12/31
"i got one in tuesday and another will go in tomorrow before i head back to campus"

Saw The Carr today, he's been getting a good workout nightly courtesy of his girlfriend...I jest. He hasn't updated lately but will be back on campus Wednesday.

Should've known to ask Emmy about Dermott. Here's an update on him, through her:
"I haven't talked to him in over a week, but I did go down there and visit for a while and he had been lifting, mountain climbing, and skiing so as far as I know he's alive and well and has not run off to join a nunnery (Owen's primary concern)."
Good thing, Owen, you'd never be able to set your plans to steal him from Emmy in motion had he run off.

On another note, did you know that being properly hydrated has numerous health benefits, like improving your flexibility and helping with the fat-burning process? You sweat a lot when you sleep, just a glass before and after you sleep will make a big difference ,and hydrating throughout the rest of the day helps too (just take a drink when you think of it, it adds up). Carrying a nalgene around with you is a wonderful facilitator for this.
