Mascot Proposal

Greetings from the land beyond! I thought I'd add some inanity to the blog.

As we all know this fuel cell has been, perhaps inadvertently, flirting with homestarrunner.com. And if you've been reading coach's blogs carefully, and following his links, you'd have been introduced to Lil Brudder, the puppy with one leg and the heart of a champion.

Well, here's a little guy who I call Lil Brudder. A real fighter. His sad story started when he was neglected over last winter break. He had only one green leaf remaining (kinda like the lil pup's one leg) when I found him. Today with the help of constant love, a big window, a flourescent light and miracle grow, he's got a total of 8 leaves. Brings a tear to my eye. We're hoping to take him off the incubator by late March (fingers crossed!!).

Here he's pictured against a desolate New Hampshire landscape, overlooking it introspectively. You can almost feel his sense of perseverence. Lil Brudder: Inspirational, determined, hater of pants.

I think there's a little bit of him in all of us.

ps--oh yeah, and I've been working out a lot. Joined a gym, got a hold of some of seig's [intentially placed apostrophe] track workouts. yay me. Other than that, I'll be a little bored here until my job starts in two weeks (I'm a Garden Coordinator, but I'll figure out what that means later).
