Another Week
So I've been lifting twice a week so far this term. Considering my work schedule, I'm going to try to do 3 times so I can actually finish the program before Spring Break.
Did the track workout today. I managed to pace myself pretty well I feel. I was feeling pretty sick afterward, but after 15 minutes or so of sitting and doing nothing but marvel at my own misery, I managed to keep my breakfast down and then still had enough engery to walk to A-lot afterwards. Times were:
200's: 34,36
300's: 59, 61, 60
400's: 84, 85, 86, 85 Last Week: 85, 82, 88, 86
300's: 64, 62, 62 Last Week: 64, 62, 62
200's: 38, 32 Last Week: 37, 32
So, yeah, I'm kind of proud of that.
In non-ultimate workout athletic things, I've been playing some squash once or twice a week and the IM basketball season is about to start, so I'll be playing basketball a couple times a week now.
Also, I'm going to start trying to ski at least 4 days a week, so that'll keep my legs working as well.
Ultimate wise, I can certainly tell I'm a bit rusty out there on Scully-Fahey. Mainly timing of cuts. Sometimes I feel there's never a good time to cut and end up sitting in the stack the entire point. I'm hoping that will get better as I get to play more. The main thing now is that my throws feel really off. I've had no to time to toss at all this term, so if any of you ever want to toss or something, blitz me, I'll probably be down for it.
