It's starting again
Well, after getting hired again by Tucker (my second job this term) and approaching perhaps the two busiest weeks of my term, the world (and my schedule) is starting to close in on me again. Let's be honest: ultimate training for me this term is much more of a fun social activity than serious preparation for the spring season, since, well, I'll be in Argentina in the spring. For that reason, it's been hard to constantly make ultimate a priority; I expect it will only get harder as my schedule continues to narrow.
The POSITIVE thing that has come out of this has been the understanding that, first and foremost, I play ultimate and train with the team because it's fun. And that said, I had some fun this week.
After a solid lift, one of the best track workouts I've done in several years, (goddamn) plyos, and Saturday's practice, my muscles have definitely felt raged upon over the last several days. So even if I have little more to train for than hiking in the Chilean Andes, I'm still enjoying myself, largely thanks to you all.
Yours in peace, brotherhood, and pantslessness,
Coach Z
