Practicing in full force

M'self, McDermot, Downtown, Socks, Sunshine, Coach, and the Carr all came out to play some ultimate on the turf fields today. Nicely done, guys. We had a solid, high-level practice for the most part, and worked on making our stack better with some good success.

...yeah.

Today's lift

M'self, Sock'ems, and McBilly hit the weights earlier. I got in an upper body set, Mccarthy similarly improvised, and Socks did some parts of one of the workouts or something. I don't know. Ask him about it.

In other news, a legitabrace for the ankle should be arriving tomorrow. Yay for UPS!

I'll probably keep the agilities on the safe side, though, just to be safe. Gonna try and ease up on the ankle and recuperate from high-impact track workouts/rehab. My left ankle currently has less than 0 plyometric strength, it's gonna be a bit of a process...

Yesterday's lift

M'self, Sunshine, Billy, Coach, the Carr, and Sock'ems were all lifting around the same time on Monday evening. Good to see people working hard.

RAAAAAAGE!!!!

see how today's track workout goes, indeed. had a good crowd of no-pantsers this morning - socks, mackey, billy, and m-self amongst it. we were ripping pretty hard - socks fainted...err..."passed out" (it sounds less like something Timmer would call 'vaginal') after our last 200.

My splits were:
400's: 71-71-75-74
300's: 55-54-52
200's: 30-30

Guys were definitely pushing it. Whole body feels like oatmeal...mmm...oatmeal...

Coach

No pants? No problem!

Been keeping pretty busy with ultimate stuff...
Monday: arrived at campus, moved into 17, went for a 25-minute run
Tuesday: lifted
Wednesday: went to classes, caught up with people
Thursday: did the track workout
Friday: stadium stairs
Saturday: turf practice. Drills were good for stack positioning and whatnot, but my ankle isn't really ready for 360 degree motion on D yet.
Sunday: general soreness
Yesterday: lifted

Ankle's holding up decently. I'd daresay it's improved a bit since I've started running and whatnot again, though it does change my running gait a bit from what I usually had since it's still lacking flexibility. I'm a bit concerned about doing too much and exacerbating an old injury (namely, my knee). We'll see how today's track workout feels.
